Cooperation between P. Jentschura and Kneipp-Bund e.V. renewed again

Jentschura International GmbH and Kneipp-Bund e.V. have renewed and even extended their cooperation by another year. The two partners who have already been cooperating for seven years now, pursue their common aim to boost Sebastian Kneipp’s philosophy and spread the message of natural alkaline nutrition and body care. Various projects and actions as well as P. Jentschura’s reinforced, pronounced presence in the Kneipp-Journal underline the interaction of both health-promoting approaches.
“Just like us, Sebastian Kneipp focused on nature and in particular on healing as the central issue of his research and findings. To some extent one could say that our philosophy extends the Kneipp concept – especially his water therapies by considering the acid-alkaline balance which frequently is no longer at equilibrium due to current living and dietary habits“, explains Dr. h. c. Peter Jentschura, Managing Director and founder of Jentschura International GmbH. Thus, the Münster-based producer place an emphasis on foot baths which gain an additional soothing effect using the body care salt MeineBase / AlkaBath. The BasenSchauer shower gel with its pH level of 7.5 and AlkaWear, the alkaline range of functional wear, are generally based on Pastor Kneipp’s hydrotherapy – extended by an alkaline body cleansing and regeneration. Just like Kneipp, Jentschura also focus on balanced and varied nutrition as well as on herbs and medicinal plants for prevention.
Thomas Hilzensauer, the Federal Manager of the Kneipp-Bund is also convinced that Kneipp and Jentschura simply link what belongs together: “Our organisations share many common objectives. The combination of both approaches simply constitute the logical conclusion in order to update Kneipp’s findings, or to put it more precise, to adapt them to today’s living conditions“, said he on his visit in Münster on the occasion of the renewal of the cooperation.
Due to the many similarities, Peter Jentschura has already been acclaimed as a great promoter because of his extraordinary dedication to the classical natural therapies pursuant to Sebastian Kneipp. In addition Jentschura food products have long since been part and parcel and - according to Hilzensauer - proven and very much appreciated in facilities certified by the Kneipp-Bund such as day nurseries and kindergartens, schools, retirement homes and guesthouses.
The Kneipp-Bund e.V. is the umbrella organisation of more than 600 Kneipp associations with some 160,000 members and thus Germany‘s largest non-commercial health organisation.
Following its statutory objective “healthy people“ the Kneipp-Bund e.V. is committed to strengthening prevention and health promotion. Based on the studies of Sebastian Kneipp (1821 – 1897) the organisation imparts a health concept that is both valuable and modern at the same time. It consists of the elements water, movement, nutrition, medicinal plants and natural order of life.
