Alkaline Fleece Mask

A thin fleece mask for preparing alkaline masks for the face, the neck and the décolletage using the alkaline bath salt AlkaBath (MeineBase).


Application

To prepare an alkaline solution add one pinch of AlkaBath (MeineBase) alkaline mineral bath salts to 30– 40 ml of warm water. Soak one fleece mask in this alkaline solution (pH 8,5), remove it and let it drip off.

Apply the moist fleece mask onto clean skin for approx. 20 minutes. Regularly humidify the fleece because the alkaline solution evaporates and is absorbed by the skin. To prevent the cooling effect, the face can be covered with a dry towel. This application is especially effective in combination with a full or foot bath.

After removing the mask, further treatment is usually not required because the alkalinity stimulates the self-oiling process of the skin. If required an alkaline cream can be used as further treatment.
